SALARY: PPS4, £19,183 PER ANNUM (PRO RATA TO £14,037 PER ANNUM)

HOURS: 32.5 HOURS PER WEEK, 38 WORKING WEEKS PER YEAR (ACROSS 5 DAYS A WEEK)

PERMANENT

START DATE: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Pupil Support Assistant to join our successful and supportive team. The successful applicant will support specific needs in accordance with the requirements of students individual SEN Profile / Educational Health Care Plan within their classroom setting. Duties will also include providing support to Teaching Staff by assisting in the delivery of class base tasks to groups or individual students.

 

The focus of the role will be supporting young people with their literacy skills and having knowledge and understanding of supporting young people with social communication difficulties within the Academy.

 

The successful applicant will be qualified to GCSE level C or equivalent in English and Mathematics. Good interpersonal skills are vital, with a desire to develop techniques to motivate and support young people.
